Please remember to pray for our Troops

"WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT WE OUGHT TO PRAY FOR, BUT THE SPIRIT HIMSELF INTERCEDES FOR US WITH GROANS THAT WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS." ~ ROMANS 8:26

Please pray for:

*Healing for bodies, minds, emotions and relationships, comfort for those who have lost friends and family members, and strength for those recovering from wounds (Isaiah 53:4-6; Psalms 147:3)

*Multiple deployments that can strain marriages and families and lead to higher divorce rates and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) issues.

*Chaplains of all five service brances needing resources and wisdom to support the great number of troops in the field, especially those who are not practicing faith in the foxhole.

*Families of those deployed, such as children dealing with loneliness and hurt, and single parents trying to cope with added responsibility.

*HomeBuilders discipleship groups, couples' studies (such as "Defending the Military Marriage" and "Defending the Military Family") and Military Marriage Seminars.

*Veterans who are trying to readjust to civilian life with less than sufficient military enefits and limited transition resources, especially those medically discharged, experiencing symptoms of PTSD, and/or seeking employment.

RUSSELL TELKER - 101ST AIRBORNE DIVISION - Russell came home safely the end of 2003, was honorably discharged from the Army in 2004, was called back to active duty with the Army Nat'l Guard in Kentucky, Oct., '04, and deployed to Iraq again in January of '05. He was wounded in Nov., 2005, as a result of an IED explosion, but the wounds were not life-threatening. He came home with his Guard unit at the end of January, 2006

DANIEL J PORTER joined the national guard air force and works in Intelligence Operations and volunteers to work at the main hospital in Iraq.

DERICK BROUHARD is in the Navy, stationed in Washington but spends a lot of time on his ship off the coast

ISAAC D SCOTT is serving in the U.S.Marines on a Medditerrain Float, he works as a Radio Operater.

DEREK TRAUTMILLER- Shortly he will be deployed with the 148th Air unit to Iraq
